Title of your PSA: Take A Stand

What is the main topic of your PSA?
Fairness and equality for women in sports

Target audience: Adolescents and young adults(13-25)

What solution will your PSA promote?
My PSA will promote fairness and equality for women in sports

What is your tag line? "Play it out...Take a stand!"

What will we see happening in your PSA? What is the story? (At least one paragraph, if not more! Be extremely detailed!)
A girl is standing in front of the camera(right-hand side). She'll describe how women are not treated fairly in sports and that men are able to play more sports than women. She will give statistics of the amount of girls that are in sports(baseball,soccer,football, etc) and urge people to take a stand so women can be able to join more sports.

Tagline: This is your brain on drugs...Any questions?

Message: When you use drugs everyone and everything in your life suffers

Sound used: plates and clock smashing, egg cracking, a loud voice(yelling!
), aggressive

Visual imagery used: setting is gloomy(dark), one colored object(the egg)

Text used: Partnership for a Drug Free America

How did you feel when viewing this PSA? What were your emotions?
I felt a little bit startled. The PSA grabbed my attention and I felt as if I had to look at it

What action do you feel you need to take after viewing this PSA?
I wanted to learn more about what happens to the brain because of Heroine

What is one specific change that would make this PSA more effective?
I think that if the PSA showed the egg burning in the pan, the audience would feel more shocked about what Heroine can cause to the body

For my project I have been asked to create a public service announcement video and print ad's about an important social issue. Through the public service announcement video and print ad's I will have to inform people about this social issue and influence them to change.

This social issue will be about how women are treated in sports because of their gender. Women are not treated correctly because they are thought of as being weak and not being able to do what men can do.

5. What potential negative impact can this issue have? Inequality and incorrect treatment of females can occur
